Good features but won’t connect with Iphone 6s Plus, January 11, 2018

Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Fitness Tracker, Activity Tracker with Heart Rate Monitor and Sleep Monitor, Step Counter Pedometer Watch, IP67 Water Resistant Smart Band with 0.96”OLED Touchscreen for Kids Women and Men (Misc.)
The watch has good features and comfortable to wear. However, the watch will not connect to blue tooth on my iPhone 6s plus. I have the needed app on my phone. I can get it to connect sometimes to the app but the watch keeps giving me a warning that the phone and watch are not connected.
Update 3/13/18: now the watch refuses to link with the app and this makes the watch pretty much useless

Disappointment, January 14, 2018

I had high hopes for this watch after reading all the great reviews and features it comes with. This watch had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately after using it a week, I am pretty disappointed in it. The accuracy of this watch is off. One of the main reasons I purchased this was to keep track of my sleeping patterns. Last night I went to bed at 8:50 and fell asleep shortly after (probably around 9pm). This morning when I checked the app, it tells me I went to sleep at 11:40pm and only had 8 hours of sleep when I know for a fact I had more. To make it worse, when I refreshed, it tells me then that I went to sleep at 11:23. The heart rate monitor is terrible. I was doing high impact dance aerobics and it said my heart rate was 72. My heart was beating so hard I could hear it so that was way off. If these features don’t work, it makes you wonder if the other areas such as the blood pressure and the step count are accurate. In addition, I am able to control Pandora on my phone so that I could listen to music while I workout but not my favorite music player…Poweramp. The watch just changes playlists but won’t actually play a song making it useless. Im not sure if the watch is to blame or if the music app is but either way, it won’t do what I want it to. I also wish there was an easier way to get the screen to turn on. I usually have to swipe my finger along the screen several times to get it to turn on. On the plus side, the battery lasts long, and it charges fairly quickly via usb. It fits smaller wrists like mine and weather information seems to sync well with my phone. Due to all the accuracy issues though, its hard for me to recommend this watch.

UPDATE: This watch had worked great for a couple of months and then up and quit entirely after that. I’m glad I didn’t spend too much money on it because I didn’t get to use it as much as I’d like to. Time to invest in a fitbit!Honestly, I’m glad I bought this watch instead of a fitbit. Although the step tracking is not accurate because I’m constantly moving my hands around, even if I’m not walking, it’s to be expected. It gives a good ball park range of steps, calories burned, and heart rate. The touch screen works great and all the features it has are what I was expecting. This will definitely be helpful during my fitness journey. If anything, it motivates me to get up and move. It also looks really nice. I’ve referred quite a few friends that were looking for a watch like this. Worth the money!
